Happy days! Looks like you guys are having a great time, keep the posts coming and enjoy yourselves. Sorry to hear about your dog attack, hope Tricky still gets a friendly greeting, lol! X
Yesterday It was good to see you both yesterday, 17 years and you have not changes a bit, Glad you liked Cape St. Vincent, I bet it was hot on the bikes. Max did really well at school when I left you 9.5/10, so we are getting there.... Don't forget when you visit next, I could do with a Warburtons blue loaf....
ps: Heard today that Iceland are opening a new site in Portimao, so soon we will be able to do all our shopping in one nearby supermarket. (Branson, salad cream, HP, English bacon, sausages, and WARBURTONS (blue))........
Take care and drive safely,
Dave
Dogs It is a real problem here and in Spain, most dogs are off leads. Some owners kick their dog out in the morning and don't let it back in until the evening, we have just acquired Max (a German Shepherd) we are taking him training to a K9 instructor and whilst he is in control and I always walk him on the I am always weary of the loose dogs..... Sorry to hear you had a very bad incident and hope things get better during your trip. Dave Griff
glad to hear bite not too bad Portugal was one of our destinations a few years ago. Recognized the photos of Braga. I think we walked down but must have taken the vehicular up. Sorry to hear that you found a couple of nasty dogs! Hope that you are all OK. Linda
Toll Charges Hi David, Just to say no UK registered cars bother with the auto tolls as the Portuguese authorities have to apply through the DVLA to get the owners UK address in order to send a fine. They have to pay a fee to do this and it doesn't guarantee that the fine will be paid, so they don't bother. Ask other camper owners for their advise, but nobody here pays the toll charges? Dave Griff
Sunshine? Sounds like you have had a rough start with Cathy being ill. Glad to hear she is feeling better now! Look forward to reading about your adventures.
End of Holidays What a shame. Do you not feel like turning round and doing it all again? You must have lots of lovely memories. We will see you when we get back. October 11th. we land back in Tilbury. Enjoy your homecoming. Love from the Crowleys xxxx
