Found 4 hairdressers (!) in this little village/town on the interweb, so chose the first (Jackie) & cycled into town which was only a mile or so away. My bicycle rear wheel was making more funny noises...

The salon mixte couldn't fit us in but I think they took pity on les poor rosbifs & asked us to come back in half an hour which meant they would miss part of their lunch (2) hour. Whilst we waited I fixed my bike which worked this time...

Back to Jackie's - it was like Mr & Mrs- sat next to each other having our hair washed though I did feel a bit of a big girl having it washed in the ladies sink with my head back. The ladies touch (steady) made up for it though I must say – very gentle.

Both Cathy & I had probably the best haircuts we have ever had. Cathy's hair was razor cut & even she thought it was cut better than at home. 50 euros well spent – 15 for me & 35 for Cathy, work that one out...must be the expensive razor or because I had the minion to do mine.

Back to chez nous for a late lunch, I had a snooze after a rough night then we walked as far as we could around the lake & back.

We took a look at the journey for 7th & decided it was too far, so we split in two & tomorrow we head into the Loire valley to Bourgueil, SW of Tours
