Home awaits!
I've enjoyed your entries and photos! Thanks for including me. I'm afrtaid a trip to Bellingham is as exotic as my travels will be for a while. We'll be glad to see you back in La Conner. You'll be amazed to see what Deryl's been up to- and Linda has a new roof and skylights. She took a little trip to China this Spring. I drove by your place yesterday and all looks well from the road! Give a call when you can! Breta

Thanks!
As your trip comes to a close, I want to thank you for the great log and photos. Felt like I was there with you, but from the comfort of my own home... What a wonderful time you've had - a trip to remember forever! Thanks again for including me on your e-mail list! Love, SC

Amazing Quetzal
Wow - you saw a Quetzal - how cool is that. It's got the rep of being the most beautiful bird in the world! It's a sacred symbol to the Mayans and was threatened by extinction not long ago. Not sure what the status is now but it must be good news if you saw 3 of them ~ unless that's all there is! Your photos are great Lynn - am loving your journal. It must be surreal that this is coming to an end. But we'll be glad to have you both back home. Happy Trails, Love, Carolyn

I meet those kids too!!
I met those kids too. When I was in the farm, I played with those kids all day. Their were crying when we had to leave. I plan going back soon (hopeful) and next year I am taking Spanish as an elective next year, so I am going to push myself until I learn it. We had so much fun on the last day we had a carnival and we taught how to make s’mores. We help them swim in a warm waterfall (cold water) and we played on a HUGE swing for hours. It was so much fun. I hope you had so much fun as I did. Good wishes, Ella P.S. When are coming back to school!?

Easter over and free as a bird
when your in a shaded area use your flash so your face will show in photo;Patricia our Easter vacation is over now . We made it as far as Baltimore for a day .trip. had friends from France here for vacation. That was fun; we laughed alot; Over the vacation I also quit my job. It was good pay but my soul is not for sale to a snappy mouth fake person. I do not go for that; any way I'm very happy. The next day the husband was begging for forgiveness for his wife; that right there sets down the points another 2 marks for not covering her own mistakes; i think I'll do some traveling my self now. I'm still thinking of that Costa Rico tour. take care and have fun Bisou Patricia

In God We Trust...
Behind that kind man rowing you to sure, does it actually say "In God We Trust" on the boat bow? That quote must have been first said before the discovery of gasoline... so glad you survived... another memory maker! That waterfall looks like heaven! Will you ever return? Love, SC

What an adventure!
They say it's not really an adventure unless, while it's happening, you wish only that you were at home in your own bed. I'm really enjoying following your travels. And not at all surprised that you were adopted by a cat.

Educational as always!
Hi Lynn, I've been enjoying your blog! I have also forwarded it to Becky P and Sharon - Ellen is in the Peace Core in Equador! Molly and her husband and baby are going to China next month. She's going to have a blog, too. I'm learning some geography from your travels - thanks for keeping me in the loop! Anne
