Theater, Art/Architecture Roman art is believed to have been influenced by Greek and Etruscan art. At first, the Romans copied their art from the Etruscans. When the Romans conquered Greece, they carried the art with them back to Rome and captured sculptures as slaves. Some major forms of Roman art included architecture, mosaic, painting, and sculpture. For sculptures, the Greeks focused on making an ideal person While the Romans tried topaz more attention to making sculptures look like a specific person so that their spirit would be satisfied. The mosaics were made to decorate the floors and images of nature and myths. Roman art displayed a variety of themes and these themes are usually specific to a period of roman history.
