Peruvian Moche
location: South America, between the Pacific ocean and the Andes mountrains
government: Theocracy- which means it was led by a diety or someone who is believed to have contact with the Gods.
civilization: Priests and Warriors lived closer to the temples and cities were considered the higher class who were respected and had power. Artisans and farmers were the middle class and the lower class were the beggars and slaves
religion: polytheism. Believed in many gods. Si, mood goddess, one of the the major goddesses.
arts/architecture: mainly recognized for their ceramics such as pottery which had painting and designs of styled lines and people's religion and military life.
The art depicted mythological and social themes
anthropomorphic is one of the types of art that the used where they combined humans with animal-like characteristics.
language/writing: the language spoken was Muchik. They didn't record much but what they did write was written in a quipu recording technique which are architects are still trying to decipher.
