Hair!
Simon you hairy W***ker! While it may be (genuinely Alison) funny that Adam is crawling up your arse, the fact that you cant tell your a human in the photo is very disturbing. You look like a cross between a deck chair and a long-hair guinea pig! Looks like its a fun time tho. Genuinely silly time is the best way to do anything and remember it, cos there are always people to remind you then. Kangaroo pie.

Hey!
Hi Katherine. Thanks for the Happy Easter message - it has kind of passed us by here as we´re in the middle of nowhere now! In southern Bolivia at thew salt flats which are amazing (bring on the USB computers... don´t think they have that in Bolivia somehow)! The gerbils are a great idea. I wholeheartedly approve and surely there´s no better choice of name, right?! xxxx

Word Up You Shlaaaags............
Looks pretty cool at the end of the world I have to see. Always thought the bloody thing was round myself (heresy I know). Taking my first week off of the year next week and going to the equally desolate land of Sheffield so I too shall be cold, hungry and surrounded by foreigners I can't understand. Come back soon coz my fridge is alarmingly full of beer!

waffles, ice cream, hot chocolate and a raspberry smoothie?
YOU FAT BUGGERS! lol. making up all that time and then wasting the saved time on filling ur faces? Honestly. Glad to see Simon has started sniffing cats now, good lad. Soon you'll be sniffing our bottoms as instinct to get us to like you, oh dear. Sounds like its all fun tho. (I mean that generally, not the sniffing cat bottoms thing.) Al

Llama + Penguin = Mankind
Jus seen the pics. Very much coolness lala. You couldnt by any chance go back and pick me up that penguin-llama as a souvenir could you. I could take it to the natural history museum. Place an argument for 'penguins and llama crossbreeding being the real origin of mankind' and everything. One day I'll be famous. Anyways, look forward to hearing/seeing more. Sandwich. Al

jobs
hey guys, lovley to hear you're still having fun. i had some not so good news today- got a job in east anglia (yay) but its in norwich. boo. its a good job but its so much further than i expected and refusal isnt an option as there is no guarantee i'd get a job next yr. i think im just in initial shock mode and mainly feel guilty as it means another yr of long distance for me and the bear so am not a happy bunny. long long distance hugs would be highly appreciated.xxx

Oh oh, I almost don't dare...
congratulating you for your birthday this late, si! So you're on your way to dreamland, or probably back already? please put up pictures of ushuaia and fireland, there's never been a place that's fascinated me that much without me even knowing what it's like...am currently sticking to flower photography for lack of penguins up here, but i did finally get a macro, my new baby. have fun, you guys xxx

It's a pity you lived in Chiswell Green and never used to get the Red Rose bus to Kings Langley - that used to let rain in through the windows - fond memories!

Happy Birthday (errrr, late!)
Yo dude, I know I'm about a week late or maybe even two weeks, but always nice to get a HAPPY BIRTHDAY message at a completely inappropriate time... believe it or not I was actually thinking of you on the day itself, but then I was in fact up a big hill in the peak district with no computer to send a message with (not quite as cool an adventure as yours but pretty good stuff). Anyways, sure you'll be needing some belated cash before the end of the trip so sure I'll be able to sort you out with some of that, mum's got the bank account details right? Loving the blog now it's got photos on it, how many days did it take to upload each one? Righty, enjoy the end of the earth! Big love xxxxx

Penguins!
Some people say I'm mad, and say the word "penguin" after each sentence, but Penguins! Actual ones - not any of this sham penguin malarkey. You had me fooled for a second you slyboots, but then it hit me... why would a penguin wear 3/4 length shorts? Everyone knows penguins dig 70s retro and only wear drainpipe jeans. Get in... it's all about the penguins. Si you're missing out on a crazy Spurs month, before crashing out of FA cupsville last night we've scored 26 in 8 games - you may have to stayt out of the country till after the end of the season, I think you're a hoodoo. This is all. You may now continue enjoying yourselves.
20th March 2007

Finally
Aaaaaaaaaaah Finally. The "photographer"? gets photos uploaded having been away for over a month. Simon, you stay true to your legendary, nay almost Jedi like deadline meeting skills. It's cool to see some at last though and Si, waiting to see baby seals get eaten by an Orca. Awesome, I hope you got some pictures of that goin' down.

todger
Always knew Si had a midget one. No more bragging for you oompa-loompa-willy!!! (I imagine it might be tanned that orange by now)(Ew gross thought) Money Laundering is easy. Just dont let the stupid idiots in the bank know. Chances are you'll be linked with some illegal exchange of 'coconuts' and cocaine anyway, so you might aswell have fun while you're at it. Al

Pantanal
Hiya It sounds like you're having an amazing time, apart from being bitten alive by most of South America's bug population. Piranha fishing sounds really cool. Hope that you enjoy Paraguay as well. Moving house went well and me and Jas are now home owners. Bloody scary stuff. Have fun, have to go and do some work now (unfortunately!)

We'll make a horse woman of you yet!
Alison, glad to hear that those lessons in Kim's muddy field all those years ago have now finally stood you in good stead half way around the world! Am indeed very proud of your riding skills :-) You should never race the Irish though, they're just too good at it! Glad you're both still having a great time, Rio sounds completely amazing and the swamp sounds swampy, but then I guess that's what you would expect. Good luck trying to find a camera and keep on enjoying yourselves. Katherine xx

We're not planning on doign the deed for at least a year though, so don't worry about missing out, although it will probably be much less exciting than South America sounds anyway :) Right, am at work so must go, glad you're having fun Cat
