Lose the Black in the Tropics
Hello you two. Been waiting days for you to reach Brazil! Jean, I know all about "black travels well, etc., etc.", but girl you're in the tropics. Get some while clothes! I'm sweating just looking at you :-)

Yep LOL I wear a lot of black but...in this case it is light light cotton and very breathable ;-) But maybe I should think about a whole new tropics wardrobe ;-) Gotta go... shopping awaits.

Love Salvador
Hey C and J! I spent three or four days in Salvador (to me it is the New Orleans of Brazil) and loved the old city. After about ten or eleven o'clock the bars break out their parties in the streets of the old town. Great shopping as well. Enjoy!

St. Lucia
Love your stories. Can't wait until you actually arrive in So. America. Last time we were in St. Lucia we just took a taxi to Marigot Bay (our favorite) -- walked around, hung out and had a nice lunch. Castries is really not the best is it? Have fun; looking forward to next entry.

How I wish I were with you! Do you stop in Haiti this trip? If you do, you will be at Labadee beach. Lance is home right now but will be back down there in a couple of weeks. The relaxing Caribbean is so what I need right now! Have fun!

South America Also
Can't wait to follow along on your South America adventures. We're heading back in January 2016 for a "re-do" of our retirement cruise in 2007. This time the wine tasting will be at the end, in Mendoza, instead of Chile. Much too long a plane ride to miss any vineyard opportunity :-) Safe travels and happy new year to you both.
