Byebye Bangkok

Recent news - Mark has now joined to make us the fearsome foursome. We all went out last night to a couple of the bars/clubs along Khao San Rd - very strange and a little depressing to be truthful. I can really see the extent of poverty this place incurs - many of the women don't have a choice in their career selection. On a more positive note we met some that weren't sex workers - Leg and Joy!! Lol.

The following morning we braved the K San Rd again...."NO I don't want a bloody suit or tuk-tuk". Hugh and I did however have our feet cleaned by a tank of Garra fish - what a weird feeling that was, very ticklish at first but once they got going it was strangely enjoyable as they nibbled away the dead skin.

Other news - Hugh or Q as he is known to our receptionist at Sawadee Inn has come on leap and bounds in the haggling department! Mark has joined the Yankee's crew.

We head down to Koh Tao this evening - an eight hour bus journey followed by a two hour boat trip, see you when I get there!
