Vannakam! So 2 weeks have gone by in a flash since i last wrote a blog. Apologies, between having my fingers in an infected foot and watching babies being born I have not had the time to come online. They past two weeks have been incredible at my placement. I have learnt an incredible amount of information from the 3 doctors who run the hospital. I have seen people on the brink of death and babies coming out into the world for their first breath. The hospital is located in a tiny town called Virudhunagar. It is not a tourist town, in fact I think there has only been approximately 200 non-indians that have been here on the placement.
