Here we are, already mid-March and yet my last blog entry accounts only of my arrival in Taizhou - now more than 4 months past! It is time, then, for me to skip the narrative and just tell you how I find things to be out here in Taizhou. There is so much to tell that I hardly know where to begin. I think the best idea is to start by recounting my initial impressions of various aspects of my city, school, colleagues and job, then work from these to elaborate how my opinion has (or has not) changed in the intervening months. Hi! Well, it seems like I'm going to come back from China earlier. I've received an email telling me that I'm really gonna be kicked out of my room from August 31th... So I have to be in Paris before that to move, and I have to start searching for another place to live. I just changed my flight to August 18th, so I'm going back in a week already! Hi! Here another update, although I didn't do too much the past week... First I passed two days in Shanghai, chilling a bit. The 28th I had coffee with a girl from Hong Kong, went to the Shanghai museum and then I was a bit lazy and actually went to the cinema to see Harry Potter in 3D haha. In the evening I experienced the Shanghai sightseeing tunnel, which I found a bit of a anticlimax. But then I climbed the pearl tower (highest building in Asia I believe) and that was cool! Gives a great view over Shanghai, I'll put some pictures so you can see ;) I felt like a proper superstar there, because I think at least 10 Chinese people wanted to make a photo with me haha.
