Hi All, So whilst travelling to Jingyan we decided to stop of in GuangAn, which is in the south eastern corner of Sichuan. It's about a couple of hours by bus from ChongQing. The bus dropped us off in the middle of nowhere and we then flagged down a mini bus to take us the last part of the way. There are plenty of small hotels and restaurants gathered on the opposite side of the road to Deng's former home. Expect to pay between 60~80 rmb for a double room. The site itself was very interesting, especially the museum, with most of the captions also in English. Deng Xiaoping was nothing if not a survivor.
