Sun 17/10 It's been a long day. From our sleep in 'til 05:00am (MEL) we moved quickly to complete the essentials and leave Greensborough by 05:40 as we were ordering the taxi for a 06:15 am transit at Pascoe Vale. Timing is everything as we met the taxi on time and then at the airport 06:30 as scheduled to meet the rest of the Melbourne part of the group. Airlines do require an early check-in but then it's a 2 hr wait to try and catch up with a rest. Departure from MEL was on time with a long 9 hour flight into Hong Kong. Again a long day in the bus of many turns. GPS is a wonderful device for getting you where you don't wont to go - particularly in a country that is developing possibly faster that electronic computer gadgets. Maybe these things also suffer from the “turn left” when they mean “turn right” After a good nights sleep adjusting to the new time zone and waking at 03:00 the Crown Plaza presented a vast array of Chinese food for a hearty breakfast. Enough to enable you to get through the whole day!
