Local Taxi, Roadside lunch and the drive to the airport. The car was being washed so we had to go down the road to the meeting point, so we caught the local taxi. Well, it was a mini van. It fit about 8 people. It would stop and if there was room you would squeeze in. It was a little tight but very cheap. Today our last day we wanted to eat real Tanzanian food. So we asked our guide where he ate and he took us to his local place. It was on the side of a busy road in a make shift bamboo garage with plastic tables and chairs. They came to the table with a kettle filled with water and a little plastic basin so we could wash our
hands. We placed our hands over the bucket and she pored the water over hands. Cute. This location was perfect for photos. There was so much movement. Mums with children. Ladies balancing crazy things on their heads. The a huge bunch of bananas seemed to be the most popular item. A pack of Donkeys with their owner. School children returning from home.It was just fascinating. I could have stayed all day.Lunch was served on a metal plate that had little separate sections built into it. I was a bit like a prison plate that you would see in the movies. The food was good. It was a bit of curry, rice and veggies. We got picked up, and just in time because it started to rain.<br style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal,

The roads turned into rivers of chocolate milk. Then just as soon as it started. It stopped. The ground was soaking wet with huge puddles everywhere. Then within about 20 minutes the ground was dry again.Very strange.Everyday life and the color is so interesting. In every country it's different.Being able to capture life just as it is, is important. <br style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-family:
