Camp by the lake

Our morning started with a safari of Lake Bogoria where we saw lots of Flamingo's.. approximately 1.5 million of them. As we drive down the length of the lake we found a large number of Hot Springs.. not like the last one these were scolding hot with great geysers of steam spurting out. Lisa sat and watched as I ran around having a great time checking them all out.

We have discovered what a Soda lake means… it is an alkaline body of water.. so what you say.. well it stinks.. mix it with lots of Flamingo shit and the water is green. I am unsure why the hot green water turns the birds pink, however it was a fun day in a very beautiful part of the world.
