Helpless crusade? Well, If I fail I'll head to the Alps to try to incorporate my new invention into the lives of the Swiss: Downhill Vollyball.

Hi guys and gals,

I'm new to the forum. I'm from New York and love traveling. Have traveled North Africa (Tunesia, Morocco, Egypt), Europe (Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece), Asia (India, Malaysia) and the Middle East (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan). I am curious to all the stories and advice on this board.

Even though I loved it in India and will definitely return there, I still haven't been to South America, Africa proper (anything south of the Magreb nations) and China.

Looking forward to some interesting discussions.

Bye!

G.

Welcome to TravelBlog George :)
Your vast travel experience will certainly be a bonus for us.

I love India too. I will be going back there for a couple of weeks in December and hopefully again next Spring.

Hey guys,

Just here to say hi and thank you for such a fantastic site!

I’m off to travel the world in 3 months and I’ve found this place extremely useful and inspirational.
I’m a first time traveller and I’m going alone. I’ve been saving for over a year now and I’ve got itchy feet to get going.
It’s been hard to get my head round everything I need to do before leaving but you’ve all put my mind at rest on so many issues.

Happy travelling people!

Welcome to TravelBlog Patrick. :)

I think sort of the same as you do. So many countries and only around a 100 years to see them and money slowing us down at every step. :D

hellooo im tiff, 24yr old designer, currently living on sunshine coast qld, australia.. i am planning a 'dream trip'
to japan (well i guess it's more than planning as i just booked and paid yesterday! lock it in larry!) going for two weeks at the start of september, and will be celebrating my 25th birthday in tokyo. i think it could be part of some kind of quarter-life crisis, but a very exciting one none-the-less....i have found this site to be such a valuable research tool for planning a trip, guide books can only tell you so much - word of mouth and real traveller stories are a great way to gather info and advice, as well as find travel companions! .......8 weeks til takeoff and counting.........!

Well I have not been to any other place before and I do want to move to US or Canada this summer or during winter. I have not been finding it easy getting the help I want and that is the reason why I came here. I hope to use this opportunity to tell everyone that am seeking for help on this and am willing to pay if the need may be. During the course of finding help, I have met people that have submitted my names, address and phone number for background check and I came out clean on all of them. So am hoping am in a better postion to be trusted in this case and I have everything to prove it. Well I will hope I get a better response cause that is what am here to look for. Thanks!

Welcome to TravelBlog Yuer :)

The Lonely Planet guide for Europe has good general information for backpackpackers. It covers things like suggested itineries, accomodation, sights, money, health..... It is available in most bookshops around the world for around 30 Euros.

It is difficult for us to answer very general questions about travel because there are so many aspects to travel. It is a bit like somebody asking 'How do I buy clothes?'.

If you have more specific questions about Europe you can post them in the Europe forum and we will do our best to answer them.

Hi there guys!

I am currently in New Hampshire USA, working at a hotel in the White Mountain region. It is an amazing place!

I am currently trying to put together a magazine about travelling for students in the United Kingdom (where im from) and would love to hear people's travelling stories. The best ones will get mentioned in my magazine!

So please get in touch and we will chat, and if you have any questions about the USA and travelling around, please ask! Great website this by the way!
