Nancy, Doug & Copper 2006 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR August 2006 Friday, August 25, 2006, Sunny 24C The house finally sold, it closes today, and we are on our way We are leaving for Mark, Janelle and Sam’s, that’s Nancy son in Kingston, Ontario. We had a good visit. We will stay overnight and then head to Sue and Ken’s on Saturday in Ingersoll, Ontario. Saturday, August 26, 2006, Sunny 25C We left Mark & Janelle’s about 9:00 am and headed for Ingersoll, Ontario to Sue & Ken’s, Nancy’s sister and brother in law. We arrived about 2:00 pm with no problems. The motor home is performing perfectly. We played some cards after supper. Like the troopers we are, we were up and out of the hostel by 8:30, and into a cab to the airport for our 11:30 flight. This cab was only 17 euros, compared to the 30 it cost from the airport - I think it must have been because it was a Saturday morning and there was therefore less traffic to fight. Our cab driver was enamoured with Canada and was eager to hear anything we could tell him. He told us he’d wanted to go to Canada ever since he’d seen a documentary with a grizzly bear catching fish out of a stream using his paws. HELLO ALL! well.. we are back home and safe. We both had a great summer! feels like a dream that we were even in Europe. We both Had an amazing time; it was such a wonderful experience. Hello everyone! I've never done this before, this blogging thing, but here it goes..... I've got less than a week before I'm off on the greatest adventure of my life. I have no idea what lies ahead of me, but I do know that the next few days are going to be some of the most stressful I've ever experienced. I'm rushing around, making sure I've got everything, and I still have quite a ways to go. They should make a pill for chronic procrastination. Anyway, this entry is mostly just a test, as I'm trying to figure out how to work this.
