They are probably not the cities that are the most known to us here in Europe. Probably cities in China are more known to more people with the number of Chinese people there are. I agree, but would replace munich with beijing and moscow with kairo. | P05 PartyofFive Post Count: 22 Msg: #4 81 days ago, May 4th 2008 | New York | L.A. Tough though, I'm tempted to include Madrid, Berlin, Rome, Moscow, Istanbul, Cape Town, Toronto, Rio, Cairo, Mumbai and many others. But IMO those are the 10. I tried to think about each continent as well, although I didn't come up with any in Africa that would make it in my top 10 of most famous (although they're on my top 10 of places to visit!). | New York London Rome Paris Barcelona Honk Kong Tokyo Sydney Beijing Buenos Aires (this could be Rio de Janeiro as well, it was a toss up for me) Eda Eda Antonio Post Count: 14 Msg: #13 79 days ago, May 7th 2008 | My 10 most famous cities | New York Paris London Rome Los Angeles Tokyo Venice Sydney Hong Kong Beijing Katm1987 Katherine Matson Post Count: 78 Msg: #14 77 days ago, May 9th 2008 | The top 10 for me (in no particular order) would be: | London Paris Rome New York Delhi Sydney Vienna Venice Moscow Madrid IUMy23 Maya Northen (McGee) Post Count: 101 Msg: #15 77 days ago, May 9th 2008 | I actually posted this on my blog because it really interested me to see what people thought. I will let you know what responses I get. The one that I got that was a little different was Las Vegas. I had thought of Las Vegas but I thought that I had a bit of a distorted view, being American. The response was also from an American, so tough to tell. So I'm wondering, for those of you that are not Americans, how famous is Vegas where you live? I was wondering the same about Los Angeles - I thought about including it, mainly for it's connection to Hollywood area, but I wasn't sure how famous it was worldwide. I also think that seeing some other lists, I'd probably replace Barcelona with Madrid on mine. For some reason, that city slipped my mind! | Muczko Adrie Bo Post Count: 15 Msg: #16 74 days ago, May 12th 2008 | Do you love crowds so much???? | New Yokr London?? And i live 2 hours from New York so I'm used to them! Plus at least for me I listed my most famous, not my favorites so I think that's where the difference lies. | say hi to rafi rafi Post Count: 2 Msg: #19 73 days ago, May 12th 2008 | l.a. | new york mexico city london paris madrid rome bangkok hong kong tokyo Asifkhan Asif Khan Post Count: 5 Msg: #20 69 days ago, May 17th 2008 | New York | Paris Amsterdam London Barcelona Dubai Bangkok Rome Moscow New Delhi 25 Replies: « back 1 2 next » | Number of Users: 20 | Number of Posts: 25 25 Replies: « back 1 2 next » | | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
