Ahh... the catch-up. Well, since I last left you with the vision of the mouse on the pub floor, I've had a couple of lovely experiences. First, we took a journey yesterday as a class, to a neighborhood outside of London called Harrow. There was a "song-fest" occurring, where a music specialist for the borough pulled together several schools to do one big concert. There were about 430 children aged 8-12, and it was a perfect opportunity for us to work on our observation of rehearsals, students, and teachers. It was a nice experience, particularly since I am such a children's choir nut. I watched one little girl for about 15 minutes straight to observe her on-task and off-task behavior, and it was very entertaining. Today we took a bunch of jumbled up trains from Portsmouth and eventually wound up in Salisbury where we caught a bus to Stonehenge. Stonehenge was very interesting and while you can't get right up to the stones you can certainly get close enough to see them quite well. I took tons of pictures and it was all very good. They have a free audio tour which came with admission and told us all kinds of neat information. Definitely worth the hassle and expense of getting here. So I leave in about 36 hours, but before I do my final journey about England, here are the past few days... So on Sunday, people didnt get up till really late. It was like 330 before I saw more than just Christian and Kobi for a minute. Once people had gotten up, Chris and I went to Tesco and I went tanning. When we came back, I made some lunch, and from there on out Im pretty sure we all just chilled and watched Arrested Development. We must have watched about 3 hours worth, so that we finished the first season of about 22 episodes in 2 days, CRAZY. Untitled Today I'm off to Tent State Faslane. Before I go, I thought I really should recap. HIGHLIGHTS the people the people i live with are exceptionally excellent. they are mostly all artists, and it is amazing the amount of art making that goes on in this house on a daily basis. when i'm not running around trying to do anything and everything (sounds familiar ay) there are always people around doing very low key things that i find are a nice change. it's going to be tough to leave this lot, i can already tell. edinburgh so this lovely lil lot all get together and do this event called What They Could Do They Did (WTCDTD), which is a multi media arts event with visual and performance art of all kinds, made by them. Today we went to the Tate Britain to see an exhibit called How We Are Photographing Britain. It was all about Photography through the years in Britain (obviously). It was absolutely incredible, I spent 2.5 hours in there and I didnt even realize it. Usually I get bored in museums but this exhibit alone held my attention and blew me away. It was crazy to see how photography has changed and improved from the beginning. After seeing the exhibit Bill, Alec, B-Town, Ellen, Meg, Mary Rose and I went through the rest of the museum (kind of in a rush). This museum is huge and we were all a bit tired.
