Well, this will be my last blog , due to the fact I will be coming home in 2 days! Spent the last week recovering from Paris. It was just so hot here you don't even want to move. Nele had school till six Thurs & Fri night. On Friday I went to the beach all day with her brother Sonke, the water was still a little cold but nice to lye in the sun and read a book! I am always laughing about the heat here because in 2 days I am going home to rain. OH and the fact that Whistler is still open so Ill probably snowboard once or twice ( any takers?? ). So to go from being in a bikini to full out snowboarding gear hahaha , makes me smile ... read more

Hello everyone. Well the name says it all, the time is just flying by. I cant believe its been 6 weeks already. Wow. The past couple of days I didnt just want to sit around wasting while Nele was at school, like come on I only had two weeks left. So on Monday I went for an awsome bike down on the river. It was sooooo beautiful outside, and really hot, 29 degrees. We had a little bit of a heat wave here for about 5 days, 29 degrees all the way through . Man how I love summer..in APRIL ! Crazyiest 4 days of my life, let me tell you !! This hurts my head to think about all this stuff to write down here haha, but I will manage. Now let me just sya first off , Berlin is BEAUTIFUL. Ich Liebe Berlin !!!!!!!!!!!! 3 Nele and I woke up on Thursday morning and took a 4 hour train to Berlin, blah. The train is starting to annoy me haha, so boring for so long. We got to Berlin around one. To Nele's discovery they built a brand new train station for the world cup last year, soooo she had no idea how to get to our hostel from there haha. Happy Easter !! Hope everyone got lots of chocolate haha, eat some for me ;). Well been very busy the last few days, its still gorgeous outside ! We are riding the bike and going for walks all the time because you just dont want to be inside when the weather is THIS great . Thursday we spent the day riding around town , went into the city for awhile. Thursday night was our friend Neils, oops I just found out its spelt Nils actually, so yes it was Nils birthday ! We went to his house for hist birthday with all his friends. Another busy weekend!! We can start with YAY Neles on Easter Holidays!! She now has two weeks off, exciting. Well Friday night we went to a birthday party here in her Village for a girl named Christine. It was kind of a yay for holidays party too. It was with everyone from her grade becuase it was in a hall, so all they girls were there and it was alot of fun. OH! For once you weren't aloud to smoke in the hall, you had to go outside so it was nice, you could actaully breathe haha. Then the smoke machine came on, and that just ended the good breathing . Well let me just start off by saying, Amsterdam is beautiful!! I love it there it is so amazing. So I took off Monday morning on the 7 am train (ugh.) to Koeln, which was only about an hour away, then I had to switch trains there on a direct to Amsterdam. That train ride was long, 3 hours , and oops instead of watching the sceneary I feel asleep haha. I was tired okay !! And I knew Id see it all on the way back anyways. I got into Amsterdam at 1130 so I basically had a a full day , woot! Had to find my Hostel first of all. Well where do I start!! This weekend was so much fun , it was a total blast. On Friday during the day I just stayed in while Nele was at school. Oh wait, now I remember haha, I went swimming with her brother. Only to the sports pool and did some laps for about 45 minutes, then we came home, and to our suprise Nele was already here! It was only 1 and she was suppose to be home at 6, but once again her classes were cancled. We just hung around home and then at about 8 we started getting ready because Maria, Irina & Liana were picking us up and we were going to the Disco in Dortmund! ( About half an hour away by car ). Ello' all! Ah sorry I haven't wrote for a few days, been a bit busy around the home front! Well lets se, Tuesday I just stayed home well Nele went to school. Tuesdays are one of her earliest days so she was home around two! We didnt really do much of anything, because Tuesdays are her TV night , haha. Desperate Housevies, CSI, and Greys Anatomy are on!! Its all in German so I couldn't understand a thing, plus they are like a millon years behind anways , but it made me miss my shows :(. Oh well, I am surviving from what I can tell. Helllo all ! Well today was Daniels birthday.. and his twin sister Eva too, duh! I was going to go to school today with Nele, but she didnt have English class, and only had four hours of school so I decided I will go another day, one when shes at school say from 10 till 6 at night, then Im not home all day by myself! Went for a walk during the day, to the little Bakery. Ah I wish we had things like this in Canada, there are bakerys everywhere and things are like .50 euro or like maybe 1 euro, different breads and everything. yummy yummy. Well, I didnt think i have Jetlag. But I SO do. Ive been sleeping alot lately. Today ( Sunday) we woke up at 9, went for a walk had breakfast, but I was so tired for some reason, i fell back asleep at noon, and Nele had to wake me up at 5! I didnt even wake up on my own. Stupid time chnge, why couldn't they all be the same! So as you can tell I didnt really do much of anything today, but thats okay because Nele has her big math exam tomorrow, she has been studying all day.
