Time is flying by !

Hello everyone. Well the name says it all, the time is just flying by. I cant believe its been 6 weeks already. Wow. The past couple of days I didnt just want to sit around wasting while Nele was at school, like come on I only had two weeks left. So on Monday I went for an awsome bike down on the river. It was sooooo beautiful outside, and really hot, 29 degrees. We had a little bit of a heat wave here for about 5 days, 29 degrees all the way through . Man how I love summer..in APRIL ! Then when Tuesday rolled around, it went back to the usually 15, or 16 degrees. Still better than home I am assuming though haha. Tuesday Nele's mom took me to Munster ! Its a town about an hour a way by car. I forgot my camera which sucked !! But thats okay. It was a really neat old town, full of students actually. So very busy and bubbly people everywhere. We just walked around and she showed methe sights and so on. It didnt have anything amazing, but it was a town I had been told I have to see by many people before I leave ! And now I have.

Wednesday morning I got up bright and early and hoped on the train to go to Cologne. The English spelling id Cologne, but the correct German spelling is Köln. It is the 4th largest city in Germany, and its only an hour an half away from me !! So I just had to go there. It is the oldest city in Germany, haha it was actaully founded by the Romans ! The reason I wanted to go to Cologne, was for the Kölner Dom, which is the Cologne Cathedral. It is BEAUTIFUL. It is a gothic church dating back to 1248, and was only completed in 1880! They are constantly renovating it, and the locals predict that by the time all the renovations will be finished, the end of the world will be upon us !! The church is the largest in Germany, and also is the home to the Worlds Largest Bell. It is HUGE ! And you could stare at it for hours because it is all so unique. I also went into the Roman Museum, since the town was founded by the Romans . Lots of stone statues and carvings mainly, but nothing too too spectacular.

Yesterday I went into the city for most of the day. Went to school with Nele to her English class. Now that was fun ! Maria & Nele were like great we have and English English dictionary beside us. Her teacher just kept laughing at them becuase they were asking really dumb questions sometimes. After school we came home for a bit then went to Ammis to watch Germany Next Top Model, I cant understand it, but oooo I love that show !! Woke up this morning at 4 AM to listen to the Canucks gmae, I am a very dedicated fan. But they lost * tear*, but we will kick ass Saturday. Hope everyones watching the game and cheering them on for me!! Tonight when Nele gets home we have a big family dinner at Daniels, its great because they're all American so there English is perfecto! After we are going out with all the girls. Tomorrow I think we are spending the day with Nele's brother because his girlfriend Marie is coming in from France! Then at night we have a BBQ to attend, woot. I love BBQs, summer oh summer ! Ugh, have to get up at 6 Sunday morning though, my train leaves at 8! Then I am off to France, how exciting. Sleeping all the nights in Paris, but getting up early Monday morning and taking the train to Orleans and maybe Tours just for the day ! I will be back Wednesday or Thursday, im un decided still. Then home on Tuesday. Wow. I just cant believe how fast this trip of a life time has gone by . But I am excited to come home !!!!
