Hello everyone, This blog is about our recent weekend trip to North Korea! I'm sure most of you have all heard about the latest commotion over the recent tragic shooting of a S. Ironically enough, a childhood friend and fellow dancer - my friend Gretchen - came to Korea for about a month last month. Singapore - Part II So, despite the long-awaited anticipation, here's the rest of our trip in Singapore... Day 4: On this beautiful day, we got an early start once again, and this time hopped on the subway train and then a bus - to go to Singapore's famous Jurong Bird Park. This park was really special because it had a lot of exhibits where you could actually walk right into the environment of the birds and interact with them (feed them, etc.). Hello friends, This blog is about the latest Korean TV show I was in - called "Boom Boom Musicland." Actually, this was the 2nd season of the same show I did at the end of last year, and so, I guess technically it's "Boom Boom Musicland 2." Hehe! Anyway, for those who didn't know, Boom Boom is a children's educational show on EBS (a HUGE educational network here in Korea), where I teach children English through singing and dancing. This February, Larry and I were very lucky to get a week off from work due to the big Korean holiday: "Seol-nal," otherwise known as the Solar New Year (or Chinese New Year). Excited to get away for a little rest and relaxation, especially after the extremely busy month we had at the academy where we work, we decided to check out an island in the Philippines just south of Manila - Boracay.
