| 6th April 2009 Janet Go | South America cruise - From: Our 2nd Cruise: Valparaiso, Chile to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil I enjoyed reading your cruise log: Valparaiso, Chile to Rio. I just returned from a 2-1/2 month cruise on Prinsendam from Florida to Florida, including a week on the Amazon, then south to Rio, Montevideo, B.A. Falklands, Antarctica, Chile, Peru, Panama, Colombia--loved South America. I was surprised how modern the cities were. It was like visiting Europe with a Latin accent. Loved the people, food, wine, music, wildlife, and scenery. Here's to more cruising! Thanks for your blog. |
| 10th March 2009 Gareth and Mel | Love it! - From: Our 2nd Cruise: Valparaiso, Chile to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Hi guys, Thanks so much for continuing to "travelblog". | 19th April 2008 Gretchen | HaLong Bay trip - From: Vietnam - Hanoi & HaLong Bay I enjoyed reading about your trip to Hanoi & HaLong. We're taking our 3 kids & son-in-law (18-25) to Thailand over Christmas & hope to take a side trip to this area. Our daughter teaches in Thailand so she has done a lot of traveling in that country but not Vietnam. Any other suggestions for adventurous 18-25 year olds? |

| 16th November 2007 Bree | wow! - From: Vietnam - Hanoi & HaLong Bay your trip looks absolutely amazing. i honestly never really thought i would want to travel to vietnam before but now i am dying to go!!!! |
| 15th November 2007 Barnaby Ralph | - From: Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) & The Mekong Delta Wow! A couple of things come to mind here... The first is that you don't tell us how quickly Larry turned down the offer from the masseuse (I'm assuming he did, of course). My guess is that, knowing you were in earshot, he waited an agonizingly long time before refusing... Secondly, your bungalow experience actually reminds me of my time in rural Queensland. In a very hot summer, green tree frogs look for water wherever they can find it, so, if a window is open in your hotel room, the chances are good that you'll find one floating in your toilet looking up at you. Gave me a nasty turn - but I imagine it was worse for the poor frog! Finally, the image of a child selling heroin is striking...and disturbing. Great blog - and amazing stories! |
| 11th November 2007 Danny | lets see some episodes of boom boom!! - From: Boom Boom Musicland - Summer Garden Party - Lake Park Give me the directions for getting to the episodes of "boom boom musicland" !! It's great to see that good times are still going on. And Nic's still rockin it!! Mel looks so cute - I guess you didn't dress up as much as you wanted to at EV so I'm glad you finally found your niche. Rememberin' the good times!! Catch you guys soon. |
| 7th November 2007 Barnaby Ralph | - From: Witches & Wizards You guys look pretty serious here - this stuff is great. You seem to have found a comfortable, fun niche there that lets you both use talents that might otherwise lie dormant. I wonder how long you plan to stay! Then again, after seeing Larry in that wig, perhaps it is time for you to get out of the country... |
