Usually for new work visa's, foreigners in Korea usually just go to Japan - since it is the closest country to us. Hello folks, This blog is about our last night at English Village (in case you're totally out of the loop, the job we've had for the past year here in S. Hello again, Ok, so last we left you, we were boarding the plane in Hoi'An and heading to our last Vietnam destination - Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon). We arrived at our hotel, the Lac Vien Hotel, around dinner time. It was a nice hotel, like the others we'd stayed at, only $27/night. It was also very new and especially clean. Hello everyone! So, last you heard from us, we were just boarding the plane to get to our next Vietnam destination: Hoi'An. Once in Hoi'An, it was already dark and getting late, but we were hungry and so we decided to go for a walk and see what was on our street. Hi folks, This is our first blog from our Vietnam trip in September. Hi all, "Boom Boom Musicland" This blog includes a plethora of events and news....the first being my new job as an actress on a new children's TV show for a large Korean broadcasting company, EBS. The show is called "Boom Boom Musicland," and I play a character named "Jeannie". Hello everyone, These pictures are from the 2 Two-Week Programs we had at English Village back in the summer. During these programs, all the teachers were divided into "houses" and we prepared ourselves for intense competition once the students arrived. (Well, Larry and I ended up winning the award of "The Most Competitive Teachers," so maybe we were the only ones REALLY preparing!!) This summer, we had quite a blast at Korea's 10th Annual Mud Festival in Boryeong! We drove up with our friends Mike and Chloe, but met up with many other peeps once we arrived. We all stayed in the lovely Coconuts Hotel...only a block away from the beach, and of course, all of the exciting Mud Festival events! Hi all, I know this blog is coming a little late, but I just wanted to say "thank you" for all the birthday wishes! They were very much appreciated from all the way across the world here in Korea... Even though I definitely missed all of my friends and family at home, I still had a really nice birthday here. This blog is a little sad as it makes us remember how much we miss our dear friends that left E.V. last month... This Mexican-themed party was thrown in honor of Ben & Kim and Angela & Andy....two couples that we met here at English Village and that we will miss very much! Ben & Kim are from Canada and will be getting married this summer! Angela & Andy are from New Zealand, and will soon be teaching in Kuwait!
