Eight intrepid, fund-raising children from St. Andrews's School, Pangbourne, raise a lot of money to help pay for the building of a new Early Years Centre at the Grace Christian School, Siyabuswa, South Africa, and then go out to visit, taking lots of good things for the school with them. They plan to get to know Grace pupils and play with them; visit some in their homes, and boarders in their accommodation units; observe, join in and take lessons and assemblies; make presentations; interview and film sponsored children; learn about Ndebele history, culture and language; eat local food; attend a church service, and keep this blog going, all in one hectic week, followed by a trip to the Kruger National Park and some scenic landmarks nearby.
Oh yes, and there are some adults coming along too... but it is the youngsters who do the real work!
