A big thank you! Hello all,
Firstly to Mr Hudson & Mrs Reeves - a massive thank you for all your efforts & hard work. Archie obviously had an amazing time. We've heard lots of stories today & I'm sure will hear lots more over the coming weeks.
Secondly thanks to 'the team' for making it such an enjoyable trip. I look forward to seeing more photos. We will do a photo album so if anyone has any photos of Arch please would you forward them on to me & I'll do the same back.
Thanks again.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday & look forward to catching up soon.

Photos Thank you, Julie. Obviously I have a lot of photos which feature Archie, and so do others. Overall I would think at least 5,000 photos were taken (Oscar alone took 1150). The process of downloading and selecting is a major one, which is why I have asked team members to create their CDs. I don't think I 'll have time to make personalised collections for each team member, so one CD compilation will have to do!
Thank you!!! Dear Richard/Mrs. Reeves,
As Nathan did not fancy the early start to meet Nia (and who can blame him!), I missed being able to thank you both for giving up your personal time to take the children on a life changing trip. Having looked at photos today and read Nia's journal, as well as reading the excellent blogs, this trip will probably live with them all for a very long time, if not forever.
We will certainly get you some photos and I would like to be able to get copies of the ones in the blogs, but hopefully they will be in the complilation.
Have a great rest of the summer; you both deserve the break.
Regards
Sara
Thanks You're welcome, Sara. Nia certainly appeared to be enjoying herself--I trust she was also learning a lot. Putting together the compilation will take some time as at least 5,000 photos were taken--Oscar alone took 1150!
Really looking forward to seeing you! Enjoy your last hours - it sounds like you have had such an amazing time - we only wish we were coming out to join you too.. but instead we'll meet you at Heathrow!
Really looking forward to hearing your amazing stories. M, D & Fergus xx
Nia the Duracell Bunny! Glad to see that Nia is living up to Dr. Livingstone's nickname of the "Duracell Bunny"! We should have told you that she never stops (unless asleep). The scenery looks amazing and probably lots of photos for Bethan, Will, Tilly and Archie to enter into Mr. Thompson's photographic competition. Enjoy the last few days. Sara/Mum xxxx
Kruger Day Wow - looks like you're all having a fantastic time in the Kruger National Park and what a lovely place to stay too - certainly wouldn't want a log fire here in the UK at the moment - very hot still and sunny! Can't believe you've been away for nearly two weeks - it seems such a long time ago that we waved you off at the airport. Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday morning and catching up with all your news in person xxxx
From the Fountains Sorry, Oscar, about the frequency of our comments! I thought of you yesterday as I got up at 5am too to go to Gatcombe! So glad you saw so much game in the Kruger. Hot here but some rain too, so everything looking greener now. Just off to London to see Emma in a race by Buckingham palace. Hope you see elephants and more game tomorrow. Hope you are staying in lovely house, love RFJA x
Wow, 5 am?!! So fantastic to see all those animals - very envious indeed! Can\'t wait to hear all about it in person! We are just packing to leave for Joburg tonight, arriving on Sun, ready to hook up with you all at the airport on Mon. We have loved reading the blog and seeing all the photos, as have lots of friends and family. Well done \'Reeves and Hudson\' safaris for the game spotting and for remaining relatively sane looking after all of you guys. Any chance of a final rendition of Amazing Grace in the airport???
Wow ! Amazing picture Hi all, Kruger trip sounds amazing - hope you get to go back for a final day! Arch can't wait to hear all about it &see your photos. We're heading home tomorrow & can't wait to see you on Tuesday. Heaps of love, mummy, daddy & Fergs xx
Lucky you So pleased that you saw a good range of animals. The early start must have been fun; I know Nia will have enjoyed that! Boiling hot here yesterday, but a little cooler today. Nat (and Sam) met Freddie Flintoff today at their cricket academy, so v happy. Nat also won best costume for the "country matches". He was in Pakistan, but had nothing green to wear. Sorry Nia we borrowed one of your vest tops and as they thought he was so "brave" to wear it he won the prize. He looked like a very dodgy Freddie Mercury (too old for most of you to remember). Counting down the days until your return. Nia your phone and Mac are both fully charged and ready for use. Enjoy the next few days. Love Mum/Sara xxx
Sad Goodbyes Always sad to say goodbye, when you have made so many memories with such special people. Remember though that you will take them in your hearts and they will always have you guys in theirs. Have a wonderful journey tomorrow (if long.....) and enjoy that next exciting part of your journey xxxxx
Hello everyone. We are glad you have arrived safely at the Kruger. It sounds lovely and very exciting. Good luck with getting up at 5am and we hope you see some amazing animals tomorrow. Looking forward to the photos.
Take care, love Tom's Mum and Dad
Last Day at Grace What lovely heartfelt thanks from the staff and pupils, you have obviously all done a fantastic job and made such as difference to their lives. So proud of you all and we want to hear Amazing Grace.Annie wants to know if Gugu is the girl whose mum teaches at the Grace? What was the result of the test cricket in the yard? Hope you also had endless games of cricket with the children. Have fun in the Kruger and remember you need 4 layers, hats gloves and blankets for the early morning drive! Lots of Love RFJA xxxx
What an amazing experience!! Dear all, I cannot tell you how envious I am of you and the wonderful experinces you have had so far, and of course still to come.
You all look so happy and relaxed, it is lovely to see. Without gong over the top, I just wanted to say, please enjoy every moment, as these experiences will stay with you forever. I feel ready to start working on the next SAGT (don't worry Richard, we've got a yaer off!). We miss you Nini and we hope that you are well and eating! See you all soon. Mum/Sara xxxxx
Enjoy the Kruger Great to read the blogs. Arch, it was lovely to read yours in such detail....you have even encouraged Papa to write!! I expect it was a very emotional farewell, treasure those memories. We are very envious of your trip to the Kruger tomorrow...lots of photos please! Hope you really enjoy it! Big hugs, Mummy, Daddy & Fergs & EVERYONE in Scotland!! Xx
Has Nia Been Eaten by the Lions? Has Nia been eaten by lions or otherwise lost the use of her hands? Is it really Nia in the pictures or merely a cardboard cut out? I can only assume she is too busy writing her personal journal to blog, or otherwise perfecting her googlie. Nia, are you there?
Tuesday It looks as though you have had a special time at the Grace School. I only wish I could have had that experience as a child (or now actually!) I know I sound like 'a parent' but soak up every memory you can - it will stay with you for always.
Enjoy your next few days. Be proud of yourselves!
Mum, Norah. X
We are a team of eight pupils and two staff from a famous Berkshire prep school, embarking on an adventure far from home as we visit our partner school The Grace in the South African town of Siyabuswa. Our school has been supporting The Grace for nine years and has sent out a team every alternate year since 2007. We now have twelve children being sponsored there, and we are raising money to build them an Early Years Centre--team members are doing all they can get sponsored themselves, as well as organising events at school like a charity hockey tournament and a talent show, with more to follow... full info
