Not surprisingly, my flight from MEL-BKK was not full, it’s easy to point to the reason why but it made my flight ever more comfortable with 3 whole seats to me, although I must admit, I didn’t sleep all too well… But I can’t believe I’m back! As stupid as this sounds I had this huge feeling of emotion when I landed in BKK, you know that feeling just before you’re going to cry but you don’t? I had that. I love this place and by love I don’t mean luv, I mean LOVE, LOVE. The kind of love that when you talk about them, you get excited and goose bumps. The kind of love that you want to spend the rest of your life with them, ok so I don’t want to spend the rest ... read more

So, I’m currently on a VERY rocky train on my way to Warsaw, Poland’s capital city. I’ll be flying out to London tomorrow night! I had such an awesome and humbling time in Krakow. Not only did I stay at an awesome hostel (Greg and Tom Hostel) which had free breakfast, wifi, dinner, movies and wii and so on, I met a great bunch of people, surprisingly Aussies, you can find us everywhere!!?? On the first night it was one of the girls birthdays so the hostel took us out for drinks at this vodka bar, then a beer place that serves the beer in the tube which carries 5L, it remind me of Thailand. And then last to a dancing club with a dancing pole. But it was a great night. We go introduced to ... read more

Slovakia-what? Yes, I think many people are wondering are wondering why I venture to this random country. But that’s what travelling is all about right? Going to random different places! I bet most people I know can’t say that they’ve been to Slovakia, so ha, I have one up on you ;) Besides that it’s also broke up my trip to Krakow, Poland. So this was really the official first time of me training it alone. Daunting? Just a little. When you don’t speak the language and don’t know how the whole system works, it’s even more confusing. But I was more than happy to take up the challenge. My problem is, is that I tend to doubt my decisions once of made then, although my instincts are usually right. So after worry about weather I ... read more

Yes, ive been a little slack, well maybe not slack, just busy! So let me try and catch up…. So Stockholm? Was AWESOME! Love it, had a great time and it was so beautiful and I don’t think it was just because of the snow. Met a lot of cool people, travelling by myself is definitely not so daunting. There are so many other people in exactly in the same boat! Fortunate enough on my first night to have an Aussie in my room from Perth but living in Paris, he hasn’t been home in 2 years but will be next month. The first night was a sat night and we ended up wondering around Stockholm at night which was quite nice with the typical crazy French activist chick, hilarious but very strange woman… Spent my ... read more

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY! Afraidly im spending it on a bus heading back to Denmark, wooo!! Haha. So were near Hanover in Germany as we’ve passing the signs for it for the last half hour then we’ll head up north towards Hamburg… scratch that, we’ve just gone through Hamburg, I got distracted for a few hours :P Only four more hours of the bus trip to go thank god! We’re going to get in after 1am and the next train for Copenhagen doesn’t leave till 4 so me and another of the guys are going to hang around and waste time till then, no point in booking a place to sleep or whatever, that’s what travelling is about right?? So how was Belgium? The weather was little bit warmer making its way into plus degree weather, even ... read more

So after a million delays, I’ve made it to Stockholm!!!! And its minus 13 degrees, brrrr but it’s NOT too mad I guess…. Just got to wear the right things!! So what’s been happening the last few days?? Well, I made an extremely long trip from Brussels to Helsingborg and met up with a friend from my exchange in Thailand last year, Helen, and I stayed with her for a few days and she showed me around her town. We also did a day trip to Malmo which is a city 40minutes by train away. But it was a really nice time there, nothing to exhausting, just chilling out, exploring and eating quite well I must say! Today I slowly made my way to Stockholm and the train was quite delayed, sigh…. But I EVENTUALLY made ... read more

So as per usual ive been just a little slack with this! I’m currently on the bus that is taking us to Brussels from Aarhus. We left just after 5.30am this morning and should get there about dinner time; the German scenery is quite beautiful. I’m looking forward to Belgium, I always like going to new places and new countries, exciting! Aside from being a little sick this week, it’s been a pretty good week. Had my business and finance classes which were much straight forward than I thought they would be, aside from our really boring, put the whole class to sleep, lecturer, it was as enjoyable as any class at uni could be! We had our exam yesterday which was open book so it was that bad and to celebrate, last night we decided ... read more

Classes again but today it was on the EU and its member states and its structure and policies, blaa blaa. It was really interesting at the start of the lesson but then it just died off… classes from 9-4 with a lunch break, im not used to that sort of stuff!!!? But after classes they made us walk all the way back into town to the town hall and it was getting dark and cold. Then we had to climb over 250 steps to the view point and yes, I must admit it was worth it, we were all alittle buggered! We then got a city tour at 5pm at night and it was dark and cold!? But I guess the sun never really came out today, but it snowed alittle!  I must say, we ... read more

So classes started today!!! But to rewind, yesterday I caught the train from Copenhagen to Aarhus and Kristine (pronounced as Kristina in dutch!) took us to our AMAZING apartment, u will have to check out my photos when load them up, but its 3 stories, 3 bedroom, with dishwasher, washing and drying machine, tv in each room, leather couch, full kitchen and even a fire place! We also met up with some other students last night staying at Cab Inn, apparently the accommodation is REALLY bad, so haha to them! We had pizza out and it was nice to chat. They were from Maquarie Uni and RMIT (postgrad students which have now discover are a bit snobbish…. Damn post grad students :P). But yes, classes today, nothing interesting really, sigh… early night again, but we went ... read more
