Haha, lets just say Dad’s a bit bent after last night or as he puts it ‘feeling medium’. So we have left Pattaya and are on a minibus to Kanchanaburi, which is about 2 and ½ hours away. We are currently on the outskirts of Bangkok (it is EXTREMELY hard to write in here!) but it is SO polluted that you can’t even see the main part of the city in the distance! … So we made it to a VERY hot Kanchanaburi! We went to The Hard Rock Café for brunch today. It was extremely filling as we had the special, which comprised of 3 courses, soup, meal and then ice cream. I didn’t eat the soup because it was yuk and shrimp bisque but the rest was very nice, but VERY filling! And there is the Hard Rock Hotel next door and it is amazing!!!! We just went out for dinner @ a hot pot place and I am absolutely full. Haha. Kristina and I are watching an N*SYNC concert, how sad! So today wasn’t too interesting. January 9 Little Court Happy Birthday Phil! So today we got up early and caught the 8.30am ferry back to the mainland (Ban Phe) then caught an hour-long minibus to Pattaya. We are staying in this place called Little Court, which isn’t very little, but its o-k, I’m too tired to complain. Ning met up with us when we got settled in and took us to her Hairdressing Studio. Yes a man @ breakfast had annoying eating habits by spreading butter ALL over his toast; he made it look like an art. Slowly but carefully making sure the bread was totally covered with butter, weird if u ask me… So I have enrolled for uni this year! Happy Birthday Mark! So last night I went through quite a few cocktails… I only got to the point of happiness and I was fine this morning . That’s the place that we found last night and we stayed there for a while. The place is really good, it has Internet, pool table, beanbags located on the beach, English speaking (Danish) owner, and it was nice because it has peach vodka, yum! So we left Barn Ae today. Well we did @ 4.30pm. For most of the day we packed and cleaned up. K and I also went to Khueng Nai as I thought I had to enrol but I don’t have to till Tuesday. But it was sad to leave (I know after all of my complaining of boredom??) knowing that this maybe the last time I will see my grandparents (Grandpa is an amazing 92! And my grandma is 87 I think…).
