So, yesterday a group of us ventured to the grand palace. Dressed in our conservative clothing with no shorts or bare shoulders, many of us were smoldering in the extreme heat. What a day today has been! It has been crazy and long and now im exhausted! So where do i start?? Well we started to leave pattaya at 8.30 but long story short we didnt end up leaving till 10.30. Yes, yes i had my first pad thai here in thailand today and it was yum yum yummy! Waaayyyy better than the ones u buy from ur local thai takeaway mark! Nothing to really comment on today, havent done that much just a few odds and ends that Ning had to do around town today. Another lazy day to add here in reasonable warm, not so humid thailand. I managed to find a marathon on americas next top model and made my self very comfortable for the morning. We then managed to drag ourselves into town and bump into a friend of john and nings which lead us to the title of this blog, eating japanese! What a way to ring in the new year, but with a delayed flight! So what do you say happened?? Well i was supposed to fly out at 1.30pm but my flight to sydney got delayed 3 times all the way to 3.05pm!!! Not happy jan. And i had a connecting flight to bangkok at 5.20pm to which there was no way in the world that i would make it! So qantas gave me 2 choices. 1. It is so crazy hot here that it is unbelievable!! Jeez! I am loosing track of what day and date it has been lately, haha. So today we mini bussed it to Ayutthaya, it took about 2 hours and was quite a nice drive. It seems that for most of this trip (except for the train trip and one bus trip) we have just hired a mini bus to get us around. It may not be the cheaper option but it’s the fastest and a more efficient way. Blaa!!! I am so exhausted! It’s 7.15pm and we went on a tour today 8-5.30pm and it was full on!!! I am on the verge of falling asleep… But it was really good. We went to a place called Erawan Falls where we walked/hiked/climbed/trudged over 3km and I just of been running on adrenaline because I just keep moving and didn’t complain and stuff considering im quite unfit.
