Moving on in

What a day today has been! It has been crazy and long and now im exhausted!

So where do i start?? Well we started to leave pattaya at 8.30 but long story short we didnt end up leaving till 10.30. Yes, very typical of thai's, getting side tracked etc etc but im very greatful for john and nings assistance to bangkok :D and to make it even more exciting, we got lost several times as bangkok is huge and maing sure u make the right turn off doesnt always work out in your favour. We were lucky enough to stumble upon the kings palace which is even more beautiful that i remember and my university is 100metres away! And the building there are so huge, it SO doesnt compare to tiny uni of south australia! Eventually we got across the bridge but missed the turn off (AGAIN) and had to do the longest loop to get back and finally made it to Ratanakosin Condominiums!!!!! :D

Its really nice here, i like my apartment ( i will try and load photo's asap!) but it has a kitchen area, cable tv and couch, wireless internet, bathroom w heating, queen bed, its perfect!


Justin (my landlord) is AMAZING! He showed me around the building, introduced me to other exchangers then took a group of us around the local area and showed us how to cross the river to get to uni. And the exchanges so far are great. Really nice and friendly. I also found out theres one more Australian, he's from brisbane, i think his name is shane, or shaun, i cant remember...

We also did a grocery run, there's a tesco across the road and stocked up on the essentials, toilet paper, water, etc.

And now after signing my contract ive been chilling out in my apartment and will be meeting up with sum ppl to go out for tea at 8.30 then going to a club full of beds!!! (Well that depends if im not already tired... in which i am!!) I might bail after tea. Especially since i have orientation at 11.30 2moro morning..
