We decided to go for a day trip from Kununurra to Wyndham about 100km to check out the sights. Wyndham has a large port for loading cattle and ore. The view from Five Rivers Lookout is spectacular and I'm sure our pictures don't do it justice. Met some people who stayed at the top overnight.. what a view to wake up to.
On our way back we detoured to see the boab prison tree. What a hard time those prisoners had. Check the pics for that. Went to look at some aboriginal rock art but unfortunately the roof rack decided to come loose so we had to unload the back of the car and spend an hour trying to tighten the darn bolts. Called into see Ivanhoe Crossing on the way back and that was great. Guys standing in the middle of the river fishing and when they get hot they just lay down to cool off.
