The Adventure Begins

Today we got up early and headed to the Salt Lake City Airport so that we could fly to Anaheim for a few days at Disneyland before heading out on the Disney Wonder to Hawaii.

The flight went off without a hitch and we arrive in Long Beach on time. Karmel Shuttle was waiting for us at the airport and we were at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel by about 10:00.

We checked in, left our bags with Bell Services and went to Disney California Adventure. We rode The Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Goofy's Sky School and the Golden Zepher before heading to lunch at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.

After lunch we headed over toward California Screamin and Toy Story Midway Mania. Toy Story was down so we grabbed a FastPass for Screamin and walked over to the Blue Sky Cellar. From there we could see Cars Land. It looks amazing.

We then headed back toward Screamin and before riding that, we rode King Triton's Carousel. Screamin was as fun as ever. For the rest of the afternoon we rode Tower of Terror, drew the Cheshire Cat in the Animation Academy, talked to Crush and grabbed some sourdough bread at the Boudin Bakery Tour.

We headed back to the hotel so we could rest a little before heading out to dinner.

Dinner was at Cafe Orleans in Disneyland. They changed the location of the check in desk so we originally went to the wrong place. We had a table outside and enjoyed a delicious dinner.

The crowds at Disneyland were very light so we decided to ride Haunted Mansion (walk on), Pirates (10 min wait) and Big Thunder (20 min wait).

After those rides we decided that it was going to be an early morning tomorrow so we should head back and go to bed.
