We woke up to more fog this morning. It was very bleak to say the least.

We took a couple of looks at the posh deck, but each time we decided that it was too cold to sunbathe. We did stop for a drink each time though as this was our last chance to use this. It also provided us with a chance to appropriately tip the three barmen that have been looking after us for three weeks now.

We have one more speciality meal left of the six included in our cruise package. After breakfast, we enquired about going to Cagney’s again this evening, but were told that there was a waiting list of five people. We added our names to the list, but really were not hopeful of getting a reasonable timed table.

Later in the afternoon, we get a call to confirm our table in Cagney’s for 7.30, so we can end the cruise in style. It gives us just enough time to get the final packing done before dinner.

The meal at Cagney´s was as great as the other two times we have visited it this cruise. We noticed that there were lots of groups of people. It looked like a lot of friendships had been made during the 13 days aboard.

The ship docks at 5.00am at Barcelona in the morning, so we have an early night so we are ready for our days travelling tomorrow. The last day on board is always full of sadness.

Before retiring, we pile up our four large bags outside our cabin door. These are taken to a secure holding area by the stewards sometime between 10.00pm and midnight and then offloaded according to the labels we have chosen. We are so glad we do not have to carry those heavy bags all the way out. Clearly we are going to have to pay a porter as between us, we can’t pull all the luggage along.
