The Inn at Castle Rock
Ripped off wife's hat. She left her hat there, sent them $10.00 to mail it to her and never got it. The breakfast was great though!! As a child, my only recollection of Bisbee is a faint group of lights nestled in a little valley along the side of the road, on the way to Douglas, where my grandparents lived.
It wasn't until February of 2006 did I make the time to visit Bisbee.
During WW 1 my grandfather was stationed in Douglas Arizona at Camp Harry Jones. After the war, he moved to Bisbee and worked at the Copper Queen Hospital as an MD for the Phelps Dodge mining operation that was in full swing. In 1920 my mother was born at the CQ hospital.
A few years later they began smeltering operations in Douglas, and my grandfather was offered a position there. So he moved his family to Douglas.
