Day 1 in Barcelona

Another great day walking the streets, eating and drinking, the goal was to go to Carrer de Bhai were the street is full of Pintxos bars. Could so get use to this life. The first stop was a coffee at El Nacional which is an old carpark building that has been converted to a wonderful area with bars and restaurants. This building also has the best toilets in Barcelona that everyone goes and photographs (so we did also). Finally, after a number of covert diversion by Senor Alberto (Alan), we finally got to the first Pintxos. We all selected a couple of pintxos and together with our beer had the first course. This was the mode for a couple of bars and we then decided we had our fill and proceeded home. The nights activities once again stemmed around food and wine, so we headed out at about 8pm and once again a few beers/vermoth with a few nibbles and the night had passed. During our dining experiences we managed to befriend and Belgium couple and ended the night drinking Pink Panthers milk with them. A great spontaneous night.
