Thursday It rained a lot so we stayed inside for the morning. in the afternoon we went out for a final lunch with Mike and Caroline before they left to return to Ireland, We had chicken for lunch at a south american restaurant. The chicken was yummy. We had lots of fun with Mike and Caroline in Rome.
Friday
Today I woke up and found myself in bed and ate some breakfast. We then got changed and went to the park with my mum and sister. We took a stroll in the park. And we found some single pedal go-karts for kids and a two person one for the adults. So me and Zoe rode in the single karts and did a lap around the park. And then we came home to the apartment for lunch. At 1.30 pm we met Kate the guide and Bruno the van driver, and he drove us to lots of important places in Rome. The trip took three hours, Our trip included the forum and the Colosseum and we saw a beautiful fountain with jade coloured water. The Colosseum was very big and we bought two books there as gifts. Then bruno drove us
back to the apartment and then we showed kate the apartment and waited for my godfather Michael who flew in from London.We met him at a restaurant and it was yummy. We had a gelato after and it was so good. I am happy my Godfather is here. By Bella

We had lots of fun with you in Rome too!
.........and wish we were still there with you but had pizza followed by ice cream today for lunch to "be with you in spirit"......hope you've enjoyed the few days since we left, the photos look like you have ?......a few more gelatos we notice!! You can tell your Dad that Uncle Mike bought an Australian rugby shirt yesterday afternoon before the match with England but hasn't been wearing it here in England today.......think he'll wait until we get back to Ireland. Say hello to your Mum and Francesca too from us and we hope you all enjoy your last evening in Rome. Have a safe trip home and hopefully we'll see you all again soon.
