Well, it's been quite a while since I last updated my travel blog. Sorry for that. Everytime I've gone to the internet cafe, it's been right before work, and Im always late, so I've only had time to quickly check my emails and not enough time to reply.

Life here has been a little bit hectic with balancing work and my social life (practically non existent). Ive been working about 50 hours a week at both the Pier Bar and Baskin Robbins. Both places are heaps of fun, solely because of the people I work with. At Baskin Robbins, I sample ice cream all day when the managers arent around, and at The Pier Bar, when it's not too busy, the managers make us interesting shots for us to try....like jam donuts (Chambord and Baileys), and Cowboys (Butterscotch Schnapps and Baileys). Last thursday, I worked from 10 am until 6 pm at The Pier Bar, then from 6:30 till 11:30 at Baskin Robbins, then on Saturday, I worked from 10 am till midnight at The pier Bar. Fourteen hours!!! I was so tired. Today was supposed to be my day off, but Baskin Robbins asked me to come in for 5 hours, so seeing how Im the biggest pushover, I said yes. I had my fair share of ice cream though, which made it all worth it.

Danny and Matt left me about a week and a half ago for jobs in the Outback. They were both having trouble finding work, so had to take those job opportunities. They come back every 10 days to visit me on their 4 days off, which is always nice. Paul is still here, and Im having heaps of fun with my flatmate, Flavio.

Other than that, I've been running 5-6 times a week, just to try and keep the ice cream from having too much of an effect on me in advance.

The one thing that really sucks about having to work all those hours is that the weather outside is always so nice and hot, and Im working during daylight hours. Im starting to get pale, so next Monday, Im demanding a day off, and spending it by the lagoon.

Thanks Jojo! Ill be sure to try that the next shift that I work. We get a free drink of whatever we want after our shifts, so thats the next drink on my list. When are you leaving for Asia???
