the first time the recording told me to mind the gap i giggled. it was cute. but they repeat it too many bloody times
it only took 6 supermarkets, but i finally found peanut butter (apparently us canadians eat 'gross food')
this keyboard is frustrating. nothing is in the right spot!
the underground is a breeze to use although it does smell of sweaty socks and pidgeon poo...
...which reminds me. i dont like it when pidgeons dive bomb me for my sandwich OR walk across my shoe and poo on it as they walk, like its the most normal thing ever!
london is so much more expensive than i thought it would be, but my pb&j sandwiches should get me through til amsterdam, and maybe even last til the end of the week
i'm in a personal hell. every damn store is having a sale and i cant do ANYTHING about it. my visa is weeping slightly (no i havent bought anything. honestly)
when i get the chance i'll upload some pictures. i totally got some german girl to take a picture of me at platform 9 3/4. yah i'm that cool
what else did i do/see today? so much! i havent slept in like 30 hours, but it feels like 48 since i had two days back to back with no nighttime (yes apparently skipping the night is possible.)
oh and the one thing i'm noticing about the british is that they (disappointingly) arent as funny as the monty python crew. it made me a little sad.
mom you can send me money anytime. i cant buy a phone card until you do

Ashley you scared the shit out of me and your mom I hope you know!...She said she was staying up, and I was awake waiting for your call...So today has been a mission learning how to dial internationally to call your hostel to make sure you checked in, blah blah blah....Baby I miss you so much.
