We woke up to a cold morning in the Ayr camping ground in St Ives, and spent more than our allotted time in the superior bathroom facilities! Underfloor heating, music piped into the rooms, lights that come on automatically when you enter, etc. Very posh I must say and best of all, fantastic hot showers. We eventually managed to drag ourselves away and headed to Lands End. This is obviously a tourist haunt during the summer months where they try and fleece you for every penny, including photos with the sign, which they take out so you can't take your own photo. Who needs a sign anyway, as long as we know where we are, we'll let you know as well. Dean managed not to fall off the dangerous cliffs, and you will notice the absence of black coats! See it is getting warmer! From there we headed to Penzance and did a little pirate dance on the quayside (not really) and then to Liskeard to visit the Prinn relatives. Had a lovely afternoon and evening with Charlie, Iris and Sharon, including a meal. Thank you all so much for your welcome and hospitality. We hope

The TinMan sitting on site in the campground. What a view!
we can return the favor on day! Then it was an exciting drive in the dark, trying to find the next campsite in the dark, through the narrow country lanes! Thanks to Charlie for showing us some of the way. The campground was deserted! We were the only ones there apart from a few sheep and rabbits that were very curious about out presence there the next morning. Today has been a gorgeous day, Tshirts are the order of the day, and with me in the drivers seat today, we have motored from Colliford Lake, across Dorset, visiting Lyme Regis on the way rough and are currently in a lovely cafe with free wifi in Ringwood. On a side note, we have the cooking thing Sussed! With only one burner, you have to be inventive but it's all working out well, and yes Raewyn, it is salad and chicken breasts for dinner tonight. Thats all for now. Cheers until next time :-)
