On the train

We are currently traveling on the train to Seville in the south of Spain which everyone we have talked to says is very beautiful. The train is very comfortable and we have internet connection because Em bought a usb stick so it's very convenient and helps pass the time. (2.5 hours this trip).
Yesterday in madrid we went on another free walking tour, we were very lucky as the company Sandermans had just resumed doing them in Madrid yesterday. Our guide Colin was excellent very knowledgable and amusing, young and lots of personality. We saw alot more of the city that we had'nt seen before and we met some very interesting english speaking travellers from Aus, NZ, Singapore and England. We had such a good time that we then went on their tapas tour which was running at a special price of only 4 euros (normally 14) where we went to some great bars that we would'nt have found by ourselves and drank sangrias.
Looking forward to arriving in Seville and discovering another new place.

I know this is super random, but I was just searching for other blogs in my area on a whim. You should check out Granada while you're in the south of Spain. I'm studying abroad here and its absolutely beautiful. Just a thought, enjoys your travels.

Sandermans are great
Hi Jane and Em, Aren't those Sanderman tours excellent, I did them in Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam and in all 3 cases the guides were great. I'm sorry I haven't been commenting on here for a while, I've been too busy including my own rushed 1 week trip to the UK as well as two Grand Finals in Melbourne (sob). I have been reading all your entries though and enjoying them greatly. I hope you enjoy Seville which is on my list of must see places. Where do you plan on being for Em's birthday? Love David

Thanks for your random comment, all comments appreciated. Where are you from? America, we have met alot of people from there studying here. We are going to Grenada as we have heard it's great there. What should'nt we miss there?
