After a 20 hour bus journey, I made it to Buenos Aires. Awesome.

We couldn't check in so went for a bit of a wander with the girls to check out BA. First to the opera house which was closed for refurbishment, then to the court and then back.

I spent most of the afternoon in the shops and did not see one Argentinian woman who wasn't perfectly dressed in full fashion. I LOVE this place!

In the evening, the girls all decided to dress up for the tango show! It was nice and a little weird ro see us all in dresses, wearing make-up.

We were picked up, and taken to the show, ordered our meal and then it was time to dance!

A tango lesson. We learned eight steps, practised them over and over and then danced with partners. I danced with Roy, who after dancing with Sarah and Claire was getting pretty good. After, I danced with a guy who worked there which I found scary making me fall over my feet (no surprises) but it was a lot of fun too.

We then returned to our table for a lovely meal (which I finished all of - a rare occasion) while the tango dancers began. The show was so impressive - the dancers were were absolutely incredible and told a story of the past decades through their dancing. I could have watched them all night.

After the show, we went to The Roxy which tonight was Club 69. Club 69 was just awesome. It had dancers dressed in garish outfits and huge wigs, men dressed as... actually I'm not sure what they were dressed as but they were super cool and a little bit weird. There was a huge stage where amongst other things, the Club 69 show took place.

A few people went home but a group of us stayed out and partied a bit harder to celebrate/commiserate the end of an era/ my last night on tour. I have no idea what time it was when we finally got into the cab which is probably the sign of a good night.

Read all these memories, made me remind my time in the lovely city of Buenos Aires. Just like you, I took tango lessons and then attended a show. At first had no desire to attend this type of activity; however a good friend of mine that had done it before encouraged me to do so. I book online trough bsas4u, the same as she took during his time in the city. The show and the lessons in Complejo Tango were somewhat incredible, authentic and unique. I enjoyed a lot the whole activity and in the end I understood that I had experienced one of the most Argentinean days in my life.
