Wednesday in Oslo, Thursday and Friday in Copenhagen, and it seems the sun is following me....or at least keeping me happy! Copenhagen is a important place in the heart of my family. It is here, that 41 years ago my parents had their honeymoon...and no I am not a "produce" of Copenhagen as I'm only 36...make the maths!

My Mum told me nicely...if you see a restaurant called Frascati, this was our prefered one! Yes I saw it, no I did not eat there... I am on my own here, not really the setting for a romantic dinner! But this were two beasutiful days.

Copenhagen is stylish, racy and beautiful. I should not forget to say really turn to the future too! For two days, I walked...and I walk...miles and miles...with my eyes wide open. The sea breeze of the ending summer, made the place chilly, even if the sun was still there. As for Oslo, i would not garantee the effects of this city late november under the rain. But these first few days of September were lovely.

I also made an impromptu stop to one of my travel agents for a future trip of 2011...should be one trip to remember too! This trip should come next March and push the limits a little further, the kind o trip I have been waiting for long.

Copenhagen could be mistaken for Amsterdam in many ways. Canals, yes....bikes everywhere,yes...sea breeze, yes...oh yes, and obviously...very well dressed people all around....I had no idea this city was so turn to the world of design. Other ood news, the place seems to be a little cheaper than Oslo, but this may be just a simple inacurrate statement as I have no stats to check if it is truly the case. As I said in my last entry on Oslo, I'm here to have a "feel" of the place, I have no other pretention than an ignorant discovering a nice new place.

I also saw a lot of bell towers, they are all over the place, with many different shapes.

As you may ask, yes I went to see the Little Mermaid. For info, and I knew about this, she is on loan for 6 months to the Expo in Shanghai. Funny enough, I will see her with my parents in October...in Shanghai! The visit to the site of the Little Mermaid was something. I was surrounded by chinese...all over...and the really funny fact, they do buy their souvenirs in RMB...be ready for the future of tourism!

My last few hours in Copenhagen were spent at the Tivoli Gardens. This is one if not the oldest fun park in the world. Nice and interesting place to spend some time around...still under the sun!

Copenhagen, a very nice place, this is what I can say for sure. Would have wish Mari was with me for a romantic dinner at Frascati. I have no idea if these days the food is good, but it's so fun to re-live some romantic past of my parents.

So with love from Europe, next entry coming soon...

Frascati
