We spent a lazy morning enjoying fresh trout for breakfast. Then we drove into Missoula to fill prescriptions at
Wlagreen's and to eat lunch at, oh boy, the Cracker Barrel. Rich found another scenic drive through the Blackfoot Valley, following the Lewis and Clark trail again. we stopped in a tiny town at a fly shop and Rich bought three of the popular flies of the day. We reached a National Forest campground and set up. It is a secluded place with only a few sites. Every window we looked out was gorgeous. We gathered up fishing gear and set off down the creek that ran right through the campground. We strolled along for a couple of hours and then made our way back. rich didn't catch anything on the new flies, but he wure found some great spots! Nancy got a couple of new flowers. Daisy played lioness on the savannah, nosing her way through the tall grass, almost disappearing! The evening was glorious and cool.
