It's about time to pack my bag and move from Siem Reap. Very mix up feeling, a bit difficult to leave Cambodia ( because i start to love everything about this country ), and excited to go to Bangkok.
We leave at 9am, from Siem Reap, the bus rides just similar with the one i rides from Phnom Penh.
It took 5hrs to reach Poipet border.

From far, the traffic jammed is already bad, we arrived Khao San road at 7pm, and start looking for
guesthouse, we get help from another traveller from French, i can't recalled his name, he very familiar with this place, since he's married with Thailand girl and just give birth his son. So he want to pay a visit and celebrate Songkran ( Thailand New Year ) together.

To be surprise, during our visit there's demonstration held in the center of city, but Khao San road is not
totally infected with this crisis. Some of them not very agree with what happen here, it's not good for their business, but yeah it's just part of political things that might be happen around the world.

Nothing much we can do since every shopping mall and sightseeing is closed due to the demonstration,
we just stay within Khao San road, dining, drinking and for women of course shopping at the same time we manage to get our bus ticket to Kuala Lumpur too.

Unfortunately bus that we rides, they're doing extra services by stealing passenger money and credit card. Even 1 of victim lost his money that he put in luggage compartment. They're very profesional, when we arrived in Suratthani bus station, they take out all the passenger bag and leave us in jiff. Nothing much we can do.

We need to continue our journey to Hat Yai and proceed to Kuala Lumpur . Till then ....

Hello Areep :) I just spotted this blog now. It seems all hell is breaking loose in Bangkok, with people getting shot and civilians attacking the army. I don't think you should go to Bangkok. Check the news updates. Mel
