Just Back from cycle
that was nice where is the beer now Left Valencia on 22 March and headed towards the south of Spain where we had rented an apartment in Malaga for the week starting 27 March. So had 5 days to get there. We'd booked a B&B in La Manchica which is a small village outside Fuente Alamo near Cartegena. This was the first time the weather has been good enough to get out on our bikes.
Cycled into Fuente Alamo and found a WIFI friendly bar. Decided to go back next day and update blog to find that the bar electric was off so sat drinking cider with bar owner and some expats for rest of afternoon. Great fun.
Took boat trip around Cartagena bay and got history of city and port. Its a beautiful city largely unknown to Brits. Spent the day exploring. There's a Roman amphitheatre right in the middle of town with flats on either side. Amazing.
Played golf at Le Torres which is a Jack Nicolas designed bunker with small pieces of grass in the middle of it. Played with English guy who worked in Germany and his son.
