Top o' the morning, afternoon and evening to all of my Irish family and friends and even those not so blessed to share the heritage of God's greatest people but "wanna be".

I have been super busy lately..........but not by fault. The wind has been horrible this year and is driving the Gringos to do very strange things b/c we are bored! I had decided that I would like to do something about this ugly floor here in the trailer. Prior to that I had thought to paint the outside patio but the wind would not permit that. So I got some tools and began to pull up the flooring (very ugly, dated congoleum--ripped out the nasty sand infested carpet a couple of years ago). I started in the back of the RV and the farther I got toward the front of the RV, the wetter I found the sub floor to be! It was a blessing in a way because we found that there was most likely a leak coming from the fresh water tank under the couch! We do not use the fresh water tank, so out it came out along with the couch that was above it.

Folks lined up their chairs to watch a trailer backed in to a new spot! Wooo Whoo! Big doings for the residents of CBRV!
I got it cleaned up and got it dried out and tackled the mildew with bleach, let it dry out again. Then I went about priming the floor and then followed it with fresh paint! It looks good and I KNOW it is now clean! Just before we started this project, our "handy man buddy", Doug, tore out the door to the front bedroom and part of the wall so that the bedroom opens up to the rest of the "living room" allowing us now to BOTH be able to get out of the bed on the sides! GRACIAS, mi amigo, DOUG!!! So now I have a curtain up and it looks good.

I had made a trip to Cabo to go to Costco but also made a trip to Home Depot as well as WalMart. Then we decided to go further into the craziness of Cabo San Lucas in search of this "art supply" store which we found---except it was really a fabric store and I found this very cool fabric. Fabric is so cheap here! And a friend here gifted me with a sewing machine---yes!! I could NOT believe it. It is older but in excellent condition

...but had to pass it by b/c skin still attached....sorry, Boberto!
and hums like a soft singing bird! I got to work recovering my valances inside here and made a new curtain for the front window.

Last week I took a day trip with some gals here and went up to some hot springs and did some hiking on some huge boulders. The "hot tub" was very cool! Crystal clear waters. We saw some countryside that is very infrequently visited by outsiders.

I also drove to Cabo San Jose to visit the segundas there. It is only my 2nd solo trip driving that distance. My Toyota 4 Runner gave me no problems and it gave me a little more confidence driving the roads here. I did find a "new" chair for Mike for the inside of the RV. Much more comfortable. I paid more than I wanted but...............they are much harder this year!

My friend, Janice, called me last night to see if I would help her serve "tequila shooters" at the local pub celebrating St. Paddy's Day. It was fun--the shots were FREE to the customers and we got a free meal!
We went through 5 bottles of tequila!

So, that pretty sums up the latest

On our adventure up to the hot springs, we came upon this......steer head skulls are a hot commodity around these parts
haps here in the Baja. Not to worry about the latest "warnings" by the U.S. government about travel to Mexico. I believe that it is just political propaganda by the US government to put pressure on the Mexican government about gas/oil that Mexico has and WE do not have but WANT. Same thing happened last year and it really hurt the tourism here. Just my opinion............

Let us hear from you!!
