Well hello, im back on track!! Ill quickly update you on our last week in Thailand.

After Koh Phangan we headed to Koh Tao, its a small island north of koh phangan. Koh Tao is famous for scubadiving and beautiful coral. It had a small town and lots of blue water surrounding it!! We stayed here for three days. One of the days we went on a day trip snorkling, it was brilliant!!! The man in charge was telling us our first stop was at shark island and we would see big shark, of course i didnt play attention to him because i was sure we wernt gona see sharks!!! So next thing me and ste are snorkling and we saw 4big huge sharks, two swam under us then met another two ahead of us, oh my god my heart stoped for at least 5 seconds with the shock. Then I swam as quick as i could (I had a life jacket on, im not that good), back to the boat. When i stoped to look for ste i noticed he was following the sharks and no one else was panicking. Then i remembered the man saying we were stopping here to look at sharks, i just didnt believe him! It was a surreal feeling, unbelievable!! The water wasn’t even that deep, it was up there with the high lights of my trip!
So on that trip we also went to an island, I think it was called paradise, thats what it looked like anyway! Ill add the picture, you’ll see for yourself! We spent an hour snorkling there. The sea came in from both side and left just a small path in the middle of the water, the path gradually got bigger then we could choose which water we got in. One was freezing and rough, like a wave pool! The other side was calm but really deep. So ste finally convinced me to get in, he held me for a while then i realised i could just float and look at the fish, i didn’t need to actually swim, I got brave towards the end and start going underwater, go me!!!! It was loads of fun, we spent two hours just following the big fish around. Then ste managed to get a bread roll and dr. Dolittle was back in action feedin the fish! I don’t have a problem with that until he started to throw the bread at me, so the fish all did a nose dive towards me, not cool!!! The island of Koh Tao was nice and small and relaxed. One night the electricity went in the town (when i say a town, there tiny little streets), I freaked out as it was pitched dark, then ste said Audrey if you cant see the robbers then they cant see you, there not gona get you in the dark!! Which made sense! So the lights came back on after a few minutes, then went again, they flicked on and off for a while, it was 50/50 whether they stayed on or off, you can guess what I hoped for! Our first night we met with Linda and Eric again form Sweden before they headed home, so that was nice! Koh Tao was lovely and unfortunately the last off ur sunny Thailand beaches, I got a 3euro pedicure and headed off to Bangkok city!!

We took a 2hour boat trip, and a 8 hour bus trip back to Bangkok. This journey was ok, except for the effort required to use the toilet! I was bursting so I gave into it, and went downstairs (on the bus to use the toilet). There was a big bucket of water (???) infront of the toilet so i had to turn side ways and face the door, the toilet seat was full of pee so obviously i hovered, then the bus was jerking so I was falling forward, but as I did the toilet door swung open, each time the bus stalled!!!! Oh dear, I just sat down beside ste red faced and told him i didn’t wana talk about it! Uh! So we got back to Bangkok, this was different than a month ago. We were alot more wiser and travelled this time!! We did it true traveller style with no were to stay, the hotel we had stayed in was booked out. We had a look along koh san road and got a lovely hotel for cheaper, so we were delighted with that! Bangkok was still the same, noisy, busy, dirty, everyone trying to scam you. This time we didn’t poiletly stop to say no thank you to the tuk tuk men and everyone else tryin to get your attention. We learned how to be politely rude, put your sun glasses on, no eye contact was the trick! We had a good time here, but it was the end of our first chapter and time to move the next, no body likes the unknown!!!
