Half-way through the Semester!!

I cannot believe we are already starting our 6th week of the semester. That means we are half way through the semester!! I guess they are right, time flies when you are having a great time! Saturday was the day that we turned our clocks back an hour, so it was an extra hour of sleeping on Sunday for me!! This weekend was a step in the right direction for our team. We lost our game by 11, but showed massive improvements from last game. We went on the road and played Killester who is a very talented team in the Super League. We hung tough throughout the game and never gave up. We played a lot better as a team and by that we doubled our assists from last game. We had 12 assist again DCU as a team and this week we had 26 assist. A drastic improvement. Along with losing the game the only other downfall we had was we committed 25 turnovers, 19 in the first half, pretty poor, but we can change that for the next game! For the game I had 11 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists (so close to my first triple double) and I didn't foul out this game! So that is an improvement for me as well. Need to score more, but that will come as the season goes on. The rest of the weekend was very good. Liverpool beat Manchester United, for all those people who dont know those teams, they are two soccer teams in the English Premier League. Sorry Lilly and Barry the best teams always seem to win the bigs games and the bad teams CHOKE!! Heard the Skins game was another ugly performance. I guess we will have to look at the positive and hope for a great draft pick next year! The week has been good. Today my group had our first presentation for Human Resource Management. It was on comparing Traditional methods for Recruitment and Selection to Competency Based methods. We got a 70% which is good for over here. To pass the Master's program here all you need is a 50, so a 70 is considered a pass with distinction. Great Job group!! The rest of the week should be pretty easy going, have a paper for E-Business due Friday, but being the great student that I am, I have majority of it done!!
Halloween is this weekend and is pretty big over here. They do fireworks and partying, so it should be a good weekend. Dont know what I am dressing up as of yet, if anyone has any ideas, let me know! I am pretty excited to dress up since I havent been able to in years. Before the celebration starts we have another tough game verse UCC Demons from Cork. The game is home and we are hoping to win this one. If we play like last week aside from the turnovers, I believe we have a solid chance of coming out with a W, but we have to compete for 40 minutes. Hope everyones week is going as well as mine! I cant believe I am saying this, but LETS GO PHILLIES!!! That is for you Mackenzie and Chris..Cheers
