Sore Butt this evening, we decided to go on a 11 mile bike ride, up early so we could get in before it heated up, hired two push bikes and headed off around a section of Lake. Through houses, industrial, anything else but lake, in the end we had to take detours down to the Lake every time we wanted to have a look. Still a great ride, had a look at a couple of the beaches and a Ranger walk, Lake Tahoe is an Alpine Lake, 6300 ft up, average of 989 feet deep and covers 22 x 12 miles, the water is 98% pure. It is pristine. Anyway back to the Butt, certainly didn't like the bike seat, I will recover.
Back to the camp and a restful afternoon, reading and enjoying the temperature 94F, have to make the most of it now, we will soon be home enjoying winter - NOT.
Downtown to Apple-bee's for dinner, with a name like that I was going to enjoy an apple pie - NOT, nothing apple on the menu.
Both had steak, still like NZ steak better, there's is grain fed and tastes like it has been inject marinated, Sam ordered a Margaretta, she got a full shaker, ended up being 4 drinks, so a lovely evening was had by all.
