chilled out

well today has been a day of chilled outness, had a foot massage that lasted one hour .... heaven for my poor feet, thank god for granuflex to cussion those darned blisters !

The Thai people are very friendly and helpfull - ive not been hastled at all - infact the opposite they are happy to help

i then went to a guesthouse that has a pool that you can use for the day .... so obviously it has been a tough old day laying on a sun lounger and drinking water and lemon iced tea. There were a few interesting people around the pool a english guy who lives in Shanghai, an american guy and a Austrian girl who was going home today after 15 months of travelling, oh yeah and 3 canadian girls who work in bangkok as teachers. lots of interesting and funny talk around the pool.

so i have the start of a tan 😊

ive just been out for something to eat at a famous restaurant called Apples , thats the name of the owner and she sits outside chatting to everyone ...... she looks just like an apple too ... little and round.

ive just has my first Thai food that has chillies in it, called Tom Kha kia its a soup with lots of spices and had chicken and mushrooms i had it wiht sticky rice ..... it was so filling i coudnt finish it, but absoulatly delicious, cant wait to do the cookery day with Ange.

so as you can tell theres not much rabbiting on tonight ..... im too chilled out, so i'll say tarar now,
and i'll have a little drinky with Pang my internet lady.

heya mum, you must have literally just put this on as I've just spoken to you on the phone, lovely to hear you are having such a great time!! Is Pang your Thai best friend then or what??....It seems you are having a drink with her after every blog! hehe. Sounds like you have had a lovely relaxing day after all your trekking, waterfall climbing, biking, canal boating...I'm exhausted just listing it all. You look gorgous in your photos.
