Well as we write this we're staring at a desk with a family of mice behind it! Good lord!

The last few days have been fairly uneventful, as we have just been enjoying the sun and beautiful culture of Ubud. We went to a reggae bar a couple of nights ago, and met up with some nice local balinese Rasta's! We enjoyed a few Bintangs, as well as some food, and live music.

Yesterday we wondered around the streets, did some money exchanging and really just relaxed and planned out the next week. We have decided to head off to the Gili Islands tomorrow for some more beach fun, so we will be on a ferry for about 4 hours, and then another 4 hours of travel time... It will likely be a long day, but we here it's worth it as the snorkelling and remote beaches are well worth the trip. We will likely stay there for about 6 nights, then make our way back to Ubud, as we both have fallen in love with the area. It's much quieter than Kuta, and the merchants are m\not as pushy as Kuta/Legion.

We will likely be back in Ubud for almost the remainder of our trip, besides a couple of day trips up to the temples and volcanoes.

We have tried about 10 different computers to upload photos, and all of them seem to not work, so unfortunately the photos will have to wait until we arrive in Australia. 😞

We are missing family and friends more as the days continue, you are all constantly in our thoughts!

Much love
Shannon and Jean-Michel

Missing updates
ok, maybe i'm asking too much here, but come on, I have come accustomed to waking up in the morning for you day to day activities!!!!When it isn't there, well, you know.... Jean-Michel get writing, take a turn, tell us what Shannon does. We already know that you danced, peeled skin, learned the days of the week, etc. Surely, Shanon does new things also....
